What To Expect

What To Expect

We look forward to you visit to our church

WHO ARE WE

We are an intergenerational community of believers who desire to follow Christ and live out the Gospel. Our main goal is to spread the good news and share the love God has selflessly given through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The community is composed mainly of OFWs (Oversees Filipino Workers) and Filipino families living in Geneva. However, do not let this intimidate you as everyone is warmly welcomed, and translators are at your disposition in case of language barrier.

HOW DO I GET THERE

You can reach the Malagnou Temple (Temple de Malagnou) by car:

3 Chemin de Rieu
1208, Genève

Or by bus:

Bus 61, 25, 21, 5 - Bus stop: Rieu

A limited parking space is located just in front of the building. Please feel free to use them.

WHEN IS OUR SERVICES

Worship services take place every Sunday at 3pm.
We've also put in place Bible Study groups during the week (please approach us for more information) and prayer meetings are held every Friday night at 7pm.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING WORSHIP SERVICES

We follow an order of service that is biblical and relevant. Our worship is a blend of both new and old songs. We don't try and cater to any one generation, but rather choose songs that any generation can sing and appreciate.
We worship through singing, praying, giving, a monthly communion, and listening to the Word of God.
This is followed by a time of refreshment where we can fellowship with one another.

DO I HAVE TO DO THE COMMUNION OR GIVE DURING THE OFFERING

If you believe when Jesus said, "This is my body, which is given for you. This cup is God's new covenant sealed with my blood, which is poured out for you", you are invited to participate. (Luke 22:14-20).

There is a moment during the service where we encourage the members to give. However, visitors should not feel the obligation to do so, for "you should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly." (2 Corinthians 9:7)

HOW ABOUT MY CHILDREN

Children are welcomed and encouraged to participate during the praise and worship at the beginning of the service.
During the sermon, they are invited to join the Sunday School classes where they can learn about the Word of God through interactive and fun lessons.
